11th International School of Biophysics was closed in Primosten, Croatia, a couple of days ago. The School, named after the late prof. Greta Pifat-Mrzljak who established it 30 years ago, is the school with the longest tradition in biophysics. The school was intended for and attended by young scientists at the beginning of their academic careers who are interested in the fundamental study of biomacromolecules: the structures of nucleic acid/protein complexes (ribosomes, viruses, chromatin), protein aggregation, conformational dynamics, folded and intrinsically disordered proteins, enzymatic activity—small molecule recognition, biomacromolecular interactions, bioenergetics and single molecule biophysics. The School was chaired by T. Vuletić and S. Tomić from the Rudjer Boskovic Institute chaired the Programme Committee.
