The  10th Christmas Biophysics Workshop (14-15.12.2015, San Daniele del Friuli, Italy) is to be organized by C. Micheletti and G. D’Adamo from SISSA, Trieste.

The series was originated in 2006 by Rudi Podgornik (Ljubljana) and Silvia Tomić (Zagreb) who have a very fruitful scientific collaboration in the field of polyelectrolytes. The Workshops concentrate on getting together scientists working in the field of biophysics and soft matter from neighboring centers in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Graz and Trieste. Our collaborators and us rotate in the organization. The next workshop is to be held in Trieste.

One important aim is to give the young scientists and students a regional platform, where they can present and discuss their most recent results.

The last,  9th Christmas Biophysics Workshop (15-16.12.2014, Buzet, Croatia) was organized by our Confined DNA project team.

The 8th Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by  P.Ziherl (Uni Ljubljana) was held in Dobrna, Slovenia on Dec 16-17 2013.

The  7th Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by G. Pabst (Uni Graz), was held in Riegersburg, Austria on Dec 17-18 2012.

The  6th Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by A. Šiber (IPhyZ), was held in Varaždin, Croatia on Dec 15-16 2011.

The  5th Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by P.Ziherl (Uni Ljubljana), was held in Ptuj, Slovenia on Dec 10-11. 2010.

The  4th Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by G. Pabst (Uni Graz), was held in Schloss Segau, Austria on Dec 14-15 2009.

The  3rd Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by T. Vuletić, was held in D. Stubica, Croatia on Dec 12-13 2008.

The  2nd Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by R. Podgornik, was held in Bled, Slovenia on Dec 15-16 2007.

The  1st Christmas biophysics workshop, organized by S. Tomić, was held in Zagreb, Croatia on Dec 18 2006.
