I. Delač-Marion has just returned from a training within the group of prof. Hinterdorfer, Institute for Biophysics, Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria. A training in Molecular Recognition Force Spectroscopy (force measurements performed when pulling on single molecules) was necessary to enable us to learn the spectrum of possibilities the new AFM instrument here at IFZ provides. The 5 week training was funded within the COST action AFM4nanomed&bio (Grant. COST-STSM-TD1002-12101).
